southee hit something like 90 off 50 balls against ireland in the 2004 u-19 wc to won nz that match from a position when it looked like nz will lose. nz were chasing 304 to win in that match. southee did it when he was 17. he does have the potential to become nz's best all-rounder

Yep, you can say that again. For those who werent in the loop, Salil has been crying his throat hoarse, right from the time this series started, that he does not understand why Southee isnt playing in it. Then, I had barely heard about Southee, but obviously, Salil was right, as usual.
