Have to agree, he does look flustered against short-pitched stuff when batting conditions aren't too easy. Maybe a mindset problem, those full-pitched balls with lateral movement mess up his mind enough for him to be circumspect against normal/easy deliveries. In RSA they were using bouncers as surprise weapon and he was really struggling even against 130 kph ones that sat flat asking to be punished. But we have to see what preceded those short ones, I am sure it will be as plethora of him getting beaten on both edges on 4th/5th stump line. 

May be..but him being a bunny and struggling against all kinds of pace bowling including short bowling was telling esp i was expecting him to do very well.
