If there is lateral movement and its in pulling length he pull a tooth or two to the fence.

on short stuff there cant be much lateral movement , u need to pitch up for that 

n if there is any batsman of the world will struggle

Ball doesn't move when it's short enough for batsman to pull or hook. Because he is compulsive puller he has been in trouble overseas tests but that doesn't mean it's due to the lateral movement.

 

On topic i will say he is one of the best puller & hooker in world cricket at the moment. Pulling on front foot is rare to watch. He won't be remembered in class of viv or ponting for being one of the best pullers or hookers due to his poor test record.

Lols i have seen him duck and heave and be terrorised and ask people to come to India etc.. What ever floats your boat..

In correct. Pull length is not short. And even short length has seam movement which is lateral movement the same thing that makes rohit poop his pants.

shirt length has very less movement and hardly has rohit been troubled on that ....if that was the case he wont have scored overseas in ODI....coz how ever flat conditions are new white ball still moves for few overs

He scores in loi pitch that are predicable bounce. Poops in real pitches.

Dravid is one of the better exponents in India in the pull shot Rohit does not make last adjustment and commits early and relies on freak hand to eye, looks good in loi pitches.

The real test against pull is in conditions favoring pacers. Sachin and David can keep the ball down while pulling. Their control is better when they play pull for fours. Sharma on the other hand plays a lot in the air. Both set of batsmen play the pull with a significantly different risk factor.

He is never terrorised against short ball. He has problems against swinging fuller deliveries.

Have to agree, he does look flustered against short-pitched stuff when batting conditions aren't too easy. Maybe a mindset problem, those full-pitched balls with lateral movement mess up his mind enough for him to be circumspect against normal/easy deliveries. In RSA they were using bouncers as surprise weapon and he was really struggling even against 130 kph ones that sat flat asking to be punished. But we have to see what preceded those short ones, I am sure it will be as plethora of him getting beaten on both edges on 4th/5th stump line.

Like i said what ever is your opinion suits you. I have seen him absolutely clueless against short bowling.
