fineleg
When was the last time India lost a home Test series to a team other than Aus? Real question: pls. post a response. Now, we are going into Kanpur 0-1 down. Must win match to save the Test. BCCI and the Kanpur curators better create an absolute spin paradise so we can save the series 1-1. CMON...start the work on it now! Link to comment
Ram
Believe it or not, our last home at home ( barring the ones against the Aussies) was against the Saffies themselves, in 2000. Link to comment

graphic23
Fineleg, I know we played very poorly yesterday. Can you give us a chance to rectify our mistakes. Thats the beauty of Test Cricket. We do have a 2nd innings. We can pull off something if we can get them a/o at a reasonable score. Let us not give up before they have even been bowled out. As far I am concerned, the Motera Test is not yet decided. Link to comment
fineleg
graphic23, You are dreaming of a Calcutta Test VVS-Dravid repeat happening, followed by a Bhajji destruction. Those things are very rare. They are rare events, so please dont think it will repeat here. Hardly gonna happen at Motera. Watch: this one is done and dusted. Lets touch base after our 2nd Inn to compare notes. Link to comment

gs
Prepare a square turning under-prepared pitch - like the ones from Azhar/Wadekar days, and see the SAffies disintegrate! Link to comment

DomainK
If we continue to bat with the same mindset, we wont cross 100 even on a turning wicket. Link to comment
fineleg
If we continue to bat with the same mindset' date=' we wont cross 100 even on a turning wicket.[/quote'] On a square, raging turner, even SA wont cross much. Its our one chance to prevent a series victory to SA. Link to comment
Donny
.... and therein lies the crux of India's plight. Even in lightweight posts such as the above, it comes through, time and time again, that (some - dare I say, many) Indian fans have no shame in demanding a 'fix'. Link to comment
fineleg
^^ LOL - as though SA wont want a fiery bouncy wicket for Tests in SA. Link to comment
Donny
Has nothing to do with what SA may or may not want. It's about India's failure to come to grips with basic technical flaws which has fans bleating like you are for a goat track wicket so India may just draw the series. Link to comment
