Sehwag the ultimate flat track bulie?

Recommended Posts

He's a batsman that goes for his shots no matter the situation or the pitch. The chances of him getting out on a pitch doing more is going to be greater EARLY than one not. This does not make him a FTB, as he has a good likelyhood of staying in on a seaming pitch if he gets his eye in and adjusts early. Once in, he is as devastating on any pitch. The only time he is vulnerable is early in the innings. He takes longer to adjust on pacy-seaming wickets in general. Soemtimes he gets off to a flyer on pacy, seaming pitches too, as the ball comes onto the bat better. He is a touch player and if the touch is with him on the day, no track makes any difference.

@rohan495, sehwag avges 61 against aus in aus, which is higher than what laxman avges sehwag hit 195 in melbourne on a pacy & bouncy pitch which helped fast bowlers, something which laxman can only dream of sehwag hit 2 100s in nz minefields

195 was in the MCG...no featherbed. 151 was on a wearing day5 Adelaide pitch where Australia and England had both been bowled out in the 3rd innings in previous years and lost the test and where in the test match concerned, Oz were pushing for victory and would have got there if not for his century as most of the rest of the indian batting folded around him. @crics...I live in Melbourne and many Aussies friends here still speak in awe of that innings and how he perished trying to bring up his double with a six. They love that kind of guts here.

I can't believe it that people are actually discussing the pitches regarding Sehwag, wait till Dhondy reaches here Throw all the pitches aside, I'd pick him for his balls to counter attack. Sehwag is same on ice as on a cement road, albeit he is a batter who can fail at times, like any other batsman including our god mr. tendulkar
