So how do u expect me not to blame captain when u have to defend his conservative call. Teams who thinks conservatively will never succeed

As i said it doesnt matter what ends up happening coz no one can predict but u go in a match with best XI . U cant predict who will end up doing well , i mean who thought pandya will pick a fifer but u have to pick ur best n balanced XI and then whatever happens happens .

Dhawan has been utter crap overseas so him being on tour in 1st place was wrong

Suppose we selected Pant instead of Karthik i am damn sure posters here would blame kohli for selecting a debutant even when their favourite IPL hack Dk was there. So as i said blaming the captain is easy but if you think rationally then you would know that he wasn't wrong about DK.

There's difference between fantasies of fans and reality

Kohli should have kicked out Dhawan agree with that and you can blame him for that but look ath the bigger picture, you know we wouldn't have won the series even if those changes were applied.

The losses in away series were a result of failure of batsman apart from Kohli and nothing would have changed that, instead of putting whole blame on the captain will you ever realise that our teams failure is linked with the individual performance of batsman too

I am damn sure if these guys play well we will win away series under the same captain.

agreed , the blame goes on captain coz few tactical blunder also made the diff .

Captaincy for me is about utilization of resources then result. If u loose with best XI fine but if ur not even playing best XI then its a problem coz many of those games were close

My problem is not that people are blaming Kohli for some errors he made but that they totally forget the fact that other batsman also need to have some sense of responsibility and they are the biggest reasons of teams failure.

Yes there are some errors he made but the non performance of some core players is the biggest reason behind teams downfall.
