Difference between Champions sides and Good sides in LOI cricket is number of X factor players

I havent seen the ATG WI but people who have can count the number of X factor players they had 

 

Mighty Aussies - Hayden, Gilly, Symo, Warnie, Lee, Mcgrath 

 

Current england side 

 

1. roy
2. bairstrow
3. butler
4. stokes
5. morgan
6. archer
7. malan 
8. wood 

 

Indian LOI side 

 

1. Rohit 
2. Rahul
3. Pandya
4. Bumrah ( a lil defensive in ODI though)

 

 

Kuldeep, Pant, shaw are not in favour so not in the list 

 

 

Many wondering about missing names- Smith, kohli, williamson, taylor , root they aint ex factor players ...top player but not x factor. 

 

Australia 

 

1. Warner
2. Finch
3. MAxi 
4. starc
5. cummins (Somewhat in LOI )

 

NZ- only guptill but they tick many other boxes

Reason i wrote this is If india wants to look towards becoming champion side they have to identify X factor players and back them like Pant , Samad , Devdutt 

The reason i have never been excited about Mayank, Iyer, Manish in LOI is coz they have no factor and they dont bring much new to this side what top3 is alreasy bringing. Yea but our no.4 problem has been such a mess that its good to have them .

Gill as opener also brings nothing exciting to this team....in middle atleast he is one of the best players of spin i have seen in India

Ganguly was one guy who had this love for x factor players, Even dhoni was more towards utility players .

Kohli goes for absolute safe options
