Indian lower order batsmen against pace scares me and it is not just their run scoring ability

Gill, Rohit, Pant will be up for it and will definitely score as they're more adept at playing the horizontal bat shots. Pujara, Rahane and possibly Shaw need to grit it out to make it more competitive. Saha probably will be hopeless but got to play with what you have. The best thing is that you can leave the ball on length here. No risk of getting bowled/lbw. Ashwin and Siraj will do well with the extra bounce. 

 

I'm actually very confident and upbeat about going into this test. Let's breach the fortress and write new history!

you prefer shaw over mayank in the middle? Also, all the fast bowlers need to bowl well. Without rain, there would be no chance of a draw there. It is a scary ground.

If you think about it, Mayank is struggling with everything outside off stump. He is always caught behind by keeper or by the slips. He will get loads of it at Gabba. Shaw's weakness is the incoming delivery onto the stumps but the bounce at Gabba may negate that threat. Also, Mayank is in very bad frame of mind and has been worked out by Hazlewood and Cummins. Shaw still has the ability to go in and blast a quickfire 50 which really sets it up for the the middle order.

Draws are extremely rare these days and Sydney is a blip. You either win or lose unless the match is played on extremely flat tracks. The fast bowlers and Ashwin will get good assistance at Gabba unlike Sydney and will help our bowlers to pick those 20 wickets.
