Laaloo Posted April 20, 2008 Posted April 20, 2008 A little boy wanted $100.00 very badly and prayed for weeks, but nothing happened. Then he decided to write God a letter requesting the $100.00. When the postal authorities received the letter to God , USA , they decided to send it to the President. The president was so amused that he instructed his secretary to send the little boy a $5.00 bill. The president thought this would appear to be a lot of money to a little boy. The little boy was delighted with the $5.00 bill and sat down to write a thank-you note to God, which read: Dear God: Thank you very much for sending the money. However, I noticed that for some reason you sent it through Washington, DC., and those a.s.s.h.o.l.e.s deducted $95.00 in taxes. :two_thumbs_up:

Had it been New Delhi though, the official would've gone to the boy's house and asked the parents for a bribe of Rs.150 to give the boy the Rs.100 and then would've said, oh the rate per liter of petrol is increasing so we will have to take back Rs. 90 and given the boy Rs. 10. But because the official is lazy he would've given his assistant the money and asked him to hand it to the boy. The assistant would've taken Rs. 5 and given Rs. 5 to the boy.
