Next U19 world cup ?

when will there be the next U19 world cup, any idea if india has started putting a team for it after 2020 world cup, haven’t seen a single tournament for the u19 colts & one year has already passed by..
 
next world cup will be a little less experienced setup i assume..

aaqib khan (from UP) might play since he has domestic experience already. same goes for Nitish Kumar Reddy (Andhra).

yes but wondering if BCCI is planning any tournaments for this tea, i see bangladesh, pakistan & a few more have been having domestic U19 tournaments going on..

add Sameer Rizvi (UP) and Azhar Amin Wani (JK- Fast bowler) to the list.

yup, I also read that after Vijay Hazare trophy BCCI is going to start the under 19 and under 23 age group tournament but no update on that as of now. Eagerly waiting to see the next set of under 19 Indian players

Wow I never thought Nitish was so young, just checked he is still 17. He has been playing u19 challenger for the last couple of seasons and I thought he looked good. Now looking back and realising he was a 15 year old playing, that makes him an exceptional talent.

he is not exceptional, but he is good. I have not see any exceptional batters come through since the days of the sundar batch and the gill-shaw batch. jaiswal and garg are decent, tilak varma is promising, but none strike me so far as special/exceptional. of course, some may be late bloomers.
