One has to bowl stump to stump and fast on typical Indian pitches. Attack the stumps at pace.

Trying to bang more than half the balls in short does not work on typical Indian pitches on most occasions.

now where have i heard that

Bharat Arun, KKR bowling coach: "[KKR bowlers] did a magnificent job. They took pace off, which was much needed on the track. They did a great job of restricting RCB. Pace off was the most effective, and fast bowlers did that. If you bowl fast on this track, it becomes easy for fast bowlers. 180 was a par score, if we had a good start, which we have, we should be able to chase it. (Spinners) Anukul Roy did a magnificent job. He bowled straight at the stumps and that paid dividends. (Starc) Experienced bowler, knows what to do."

Trundlers are also going for runs on Indian pitch.

Trundlers are the royalty of Indian cricket and will play irrespective of the results they produce.

For example Umran averages 26.6 with ER of 9.4 in the IPL But gets dropped because he is supposedly erratic.

And Mukesh gets picked in almost every match because he is " accurate and economical ".  But has ER of 10.7 and averages 46.9 in the IPL.

They are obviously not looking at results.

Broadly in Ind in white-ball cricket fast bowler need zip. there are few sluggish pitches too where cutter and lack of pace can work but if its not holding in much and there is no power failure then cutter does not work too.

With batters having modern shots and able to spot slower one early and power they are able to generate ,cutters are nt that effective unless bowler is breaking from 145+ kmph to 125 kmph..

This is actually a scam.

Trundlers playing match after match despite getting smashed is shambolic.

Umran didn't bowl second over, but Bhuvi & Unadkut were given overs after overs to justify their selections.

Agree...but Mukesh Kumar bowled on the slow pitches (2023 onwards IPL has been on slower pitches). Still leaking runs at more than 10 p.o.

It's like a spinner averaging 35 with bowl on a rank turner.

no point bowling him if you need cutters, unadkat and cummins did a good job with those slow bouncers

because he doesnt bowl cutters .You guys call him trundler but he isnt that slow ,sandeep sharma does well due to lack of pace ,the slower you bowl the better it is here.
