observer1 Posted April 21, 2008 Posted April 21, 2008 I am convinced that Harbhajan's catch off Dravid was a bump ball. Even more so as the TV chaps did not bother showing any relevant replays. Any other opinions?
PaiN_KiLLeR Posted April 21, 2008 Posted April 21, 2008 Yes Dravid initially decided to stand his ground but then he thought maybe he shouldnt be doubting the integrity of his own teammate & decided to walk back to the pavillion. Replays werent conclusive but if I was the 3rd ump i'd give the benefit of the doubt to the batsman.
Cricketics Posted April 21, 2008 Posted April 21, 2008 pain killer, dravid decided to stand first becaue he though Bhajji might have grassed the ball, or since the ball was on the pitch, i should say that the ball might have touched the ground will bhajji was catching it.. there is no way the ball bumped it was just question of ball touching the groudn while bajji was catching it..that made dravid reluctant to go to pavilion..
Mandrake Posted April 21, 2008 Posted April 21, 2008 It was clean...Punter would have given that one out:-D

umpire Posted April 21, 2008 Posted April 21, 2008 stupid bhajji, he lost the game for his team. Dravid should have been allowed to bat.
f.b.m Posted April 21, 2008 Posted April 21, 2008 stupid bhajji' date=' he lost the game for his team. Dravid should have been allowed to bat.[/quote'] True. It showed his poor captaincy skills
observer1 Posted April 21, 2008 Author Posted April 21, 2008 It was clean...Punter would have given that one out:-D Hit the nail on the head Mandrake. The 'Maaki Psyche' makes us believe he cant do wrong. Why were there no replays - other than the one angle?
Sachinism Posted April 21, 2008 Posted April 21, 2008 it was clean i'll upload the video for you gimme a few mins
yoda Posted April 21, 2008 Posted April 21, 2008 it was close. replay (same angle of course) seemed to indicate that it might have been clean.

ludhianvi Posted April 21, 2008 Posted April 21, 2008 tricky one, Dravid did point at something (perhaps he was telling his partner that there's no run :D) This one would have created a total controversy. Is it possible to get a slow mo of this..
suraj Posted April 21, 2008 Posted April 21, 2008 YouTube - Bhaji takes a stunning catch to remove Dravid http://www.sendspace.com/file/54baju - download the video here good angle clean catch
Sachinism Posted April 21, 2008 Posted April 21, 2008 im telling you its clean, but if you want a slowed up version, here you go http://www.sendspace.com/file/folub4 sorry didnt know how to slow down sections and dont have time to find out
h4te Posted April 21, 2008 Posted April 21, 2008 it looks like he caught it. his hands hit the ground first, which makes it look like the ball hit the ground. i'm glad that dravid walked...it would've been real ugly if he hadn't...
