I hope it somehow happens.  They sure are interested & BCCI should push for this & screw Adani & Goenka especially Latter coz these two are front runners atm to grab those two new franchises. 

IPl will get a big big boost & its popularity will sky rocket.  It will surely be one step closer to surpass Int'l cricket.

Bangladesh might be ahead on some parameters.

Most east european counties are high income. mind you, their gdp per capita ppp is close to west europeans (30000+) and they have an hdi > 0.8.

 

india will be at this level in 2050.
