In 92 they were very lucky indeed...  In CT17 they lost only one group game vs India..  And qualified to semi by winning vs all other teams.  Even we lost to lanka in Group stage..  And qualified.

Yes the CT17 run wasn't nearly as lucky as the 92 WC but they qualified only at the last minute. I think WI (or Zim?) lost to them a series just before the qualification stage & they snuck through!
