Vk1 Posted February 12, 2022 Posted February 12, 2022 India : prefer flat tracks against weakers teams home and away ( not having left arm seamers in opposition helpful ) imo would have won SF19 comfortably if it was a flat pitch. Against strong teams ( Eng, Aus ) though, we tend to do well on <300 odi tracks / < 180 T20? Eng: prefer Flat flatter flattest tracks.. lords pitch curator almost killed this team in 2019 final... become an absolutely avg team on juicy tracks.. Aus: perhaps the only team capable of doing well on all kinds of tracks but not consistent enough.. also missing the aura of prev gen.. WI: same as Eng.. their famed batsmen become half the players the moment pitch is doing something.. NZ: the only team that wants juicy pitches.. though they got unlucky with that stokes overthrow but luck has been too favorable to them on all other occasions.. During 2019 wc group game got against us washed out.. played weaker teams first and got all points.. played in the most favorable conditions during WC semis & WTC final.. went to wtc final playing home games and after Aus were deducted points for slow overrate lol.. Pak: Mercurial team as always.. I dont know when they would do well..
Jay Posted February 12, 2022 Posted February 12, 2022 Pak can't play bounce at all. They are good on seam friendly pitches , turners and slow flat tracks. Not only fast flatties and bounce. India good in all except real flattish pitches. We are useless on true flat pitch in loi because our batting cant score big. Loi is a batters game. You need to score big. Vijy 1
