After a winless January, team India has a fabulous February

India started winless in 2022 by loosing both the test matches against SA (in Johannesburg and Capetown) and later followed by 0-3 whitewash in the ODI series.

However, everything changes in the T20I and ODI series vs West Indies and Sri Lanka and India bounced back and had a fantastic February with 9-0 match record against opponents.

So, can we say that India is back to its winning ways and made up for the initial arrears int he year 2022.

 

I think partially this is good but India need to win more matches abroad against strong opponents. We cannot keep loosing all those series and getting whitewashed away from home.

I don't think bilateral wins mean anything even overseas if we don't win the crown.  There was a period when Kulcha was going great guns India was winning overseas for fun. Come the world cup. On flat decks both got ripped to shreds in critical matches. Best thing about these wins was trying of different combination in each matches. Under Kohli also we won matches. But mostly it would follow the same pattern.  This time SKY, Jadeja, Shreyas Iyer, Venkatesh Iyer, Chahar various lesser hyped players contributed to wins. Not the same old Rohit/Kohli/KL Rahul.

No mater who the opponent is 9-0 is impressive and so far sarma is looking great as as a capatin.
