ludhianvi
Now that most of the users use firefox or should have changed to firefox after the previous poll. Let's add our tips, tricks, or addons that you usually use. Some keyboard shortcuts: Ctrl+t : opens a new tab Ctrl + l : goes to open location address bar Ctrl+k : goes to the search box located in the top right hand corner Second trick: the "Bookmark keyword" tip. This is for those that like to use the keyboard more. After you have bookmarked a site like http://www.indiancricketfans.com by going to "Bookmarks"-> "Bookmark this page" or pressing the keyboard shortcut "Ctrl +d". Then after bookmarking, you right click on the bookmark link by browsing to the bookmark menu and select "properties". Then a new window pops up. One of the heading is "keyword". In that you type your shortcut, in this case, we type in "icf" and click ok. ---------- Now with all that. you only have to type in 'icf' into the address bar and it takes you to http://www.indiancricketfans.com. Ofcourse, you could combine all the shortcuts listed above as follows: Ctrl + l : to go to the address location bar type 'icf' and voila you are in icf. Gambit
Hope they solved the memory leakage issue. Here is a firefox tip from me. Use keywords. For example, if you want to search for a cricketer in statsguru, you don't have to go to the statsguru page everytime and then search for the cricketer Instead do the following. Go here: http://stats.cricinfo.com/statsguru/engine/current/stats/index.html right click in the search text field and click on "Add a keyword for this search". Then type in 'SG' and then 'sg' in keyword field. Now in your URL bar, type in sg and then tendulkar and it should take you to Tendulkar's statsguru page. You can do the same for IMDB etc.
