SKY- More of a timer. Can move along the stumps and weird shots over cover and point like he did against Topley. Immense powers against spinners playing inside out or even when just giving direction. No real legside power apart from pull.

 

Samson- Hits straight over bowlers head. Both against pace and spin. Rare quality for subcontinent batsman. More power against length balls.

 

Slower balls- SKY

Length balls- Samson

In the V- Samson

Pull- Maybe SKY

Slot balls- Can't say

Express pace- Samson

Higher strike rate due to along the ground range, not power.

Both rely on timing than power. SKY can play 360 degree shots.

 

Samson would be more suited on true paced pitches.

 

Anyhow it was 50-50 decision and not a howler.
