In absence of Bumrah, the death overs responsibility seems to be given to Arshdeep who is relatively new and has a big task to do for himself.

 

I also don't understand the role that Mohammad Shami has got. He didn't bowled upfront which is what he has generally been good at and bowled only one over in death.

 

Spin resources seem quite average for us compared to other Asian teams as none of Chahal, Ashwin or Axar give enough confidence.

 

Great that we won the match vs Pakistan and we are in a relatively easier group compared to Group 1 so a semi final journey shouldn't be that tough but I am not hopeful of our chances beyond that.

shami - bhuvi has to take 1-1 over charge

Did he bowled short ball enough in middle overs? I think mostly Pandya did that. I don't really recall the middle overs of Pakistan inning every ball but think Shami was bowling more good length or fuller length deliveries.

 

Harshal ain't gonna get a game unless someone is injured.
