Idea is to defend any total anywhere. Even 10 runs, 20 runs. In T20 declare the innings in 10 overs and defend it ! A heavy bowling oriented side.

probably allow substitutions in a match. with preconditions like you can't recall substituted player again. by doing so teams may start filling in bowlers/batsman  to counter this strategy.

They tried this 17-18 years back, with supersub, but ICC *ed it up anyway!
