R!TTER Posted December 21, 2022 Posted December 21, 2022 Who aren't minnows, got beat at home? Sides like Oz or India of course The 2021 win is remarkable in that sense as we beat near peak Oz with virtually every major player playing till the end, Warner was missing earlier but he came back as well. Don't remember the last time that happened in 2 decades, if you ignore the SA drubbings at the hands of Oz regularly at their home! Vijy 1
Number Posted December 21, 2022 Posted December 21, 2022 (edited) India against England in 2012. That said that English side was very strong. Their batting line up probably best in the England's test cricket history. SL winning against South Africa in 2018-19 was another instance but Saffers were depleted when ABDV had just left. R!TTER Posted December 21, 2022 Author Posted December 21, 2022 The Eng win in Oz was more impressive, yes they won against India but that was always coming with Dhongi in charge! Eng beat Oz with 3 innings margin just 2 years back - from memory easily the worst performance by Oz at home ever!
