Paxtan is not a big threat right now but still their missile capability is decent for a tiny power.  Their scientists reverse engineered some Tomahawks from Afghan war with the help of Chinks.  Even their top generals have admitted this.

We should stop measuring ourselves with Paxtan & look beyond.

West & China wants to keep us stranded with them & never project our true power.  Sooner we get rid of them the better.

We can't make great aircraft but at least cruise missiles should be indigenously made.

We dont measure ourselves with a shithole of a religious country. They have only given suicide bombers to themselves and this world & shelter to suicide bombers

So Indigo is buying some 500 planes. And Air India some 470-480.

Would it not make sense for a pvt player in India to start manufacturing planes in India itself. Perhaps with some help from GoI.

Nearly 1000 planes is a big ticket size.

Can India get Boeing/ Airbus to start a mfg unit in India? Perhaps start from there?

We do we expect foreign companies to start ,manufacturing here... as if they are doing us a favour. We will they want to lay off their own staff in US ans France just so that some indians get jobs?

Maybe if the reservation system wasn't driving out the brightest talent out of India and the education system actually incentivising innovation and R&D which can match western nations ( rather than engineers just doing engineers to get good dowry) THEN we can be self sufficient
