amits Posted June 8, 2008 Posted June 8, 2008 for those who r in orkut would know this. orkut has lanuched a "regional view restricted thing" and with this some true faces of ppl r coming forward. those who r impure indians, most of them have resticted the view even from their own motherland to other viewers, which means even the pure indians cant c their profiles :mad:

"regional view restrict" - what the heck does that mean? if u have an orkut account, go to settings > privacy and check the "my network", u will get 2 options - all countries individual countries and regions for "regional view restrict", check on the 2nd options. i have checked on the 1st option & my profile is 100% open to everyone. not even the album is locked in my profile

amits Posted June 9, 2008 Author Posted June 9, 2008 in india, ppl dont use facebook. many ppl dont even know about it. even i didnt until i came to icf and saw a thread "facebook finds". and lots of indians use orkut. indians r the 2nd largest orkut users after brazil. also, most of our u-19 cricketers r on orkut & also some indian players like ishant sharma, rohit sharma, shikhar dhawan & manoj tiwary and recently, orkut has started copying some cr@p things from facebook. i think the way orkut was in 2007 was the best. no locked albums & no regional view restriction. everyone was free to view others albums
