Trick is to see off the first 25 overs against NZ then it will be net practice. But we rarely do that. Link to comment

He is a nothing bowler. Only does well when there is swing. He should be smashed around. Also he trundles after first few overs Link to comment

Even in India Anderson had his moments against us except Jaiswal. Kron 1 Link to comment

If we played with intensity like we do vs aussues we would desteoy them. Also time difference. No one seem to care even in india. To watch. We will crush them like cockroaches in india as per usual though. We so lack a swing bowler for nz tour. Forget that, the afg-ire game is going on. Ire have this metronomic trundler who bowls 130 and gets bounce called Adair. He gets bounce and seam movement troubling batters even in that placid Abu Dhabi deck. We don't have one bowler like that at present. Kron 1 Link to comment
vvvslaxman
Smith bowled. lol Why is he wasting his career by playing as an opener. New ball is not for everyone. Link to comment

Ishant is the only one who did that towards the later part of his career. He has a nice repeatable action. This is why i think they missed the trick with Sandeep Warrier. Link to comment
Frustrated
Trundler Tim 'Gutkesh' Southee Finally gets one. This time a vital breakthrough. Link to comment

Ishant also improved his line and length only after several years of experience and learning on the job in international cricket. Immaculate control over line and length with some bounce is such a weapon. Link to comment
vvvslaxman
India lacks outswing bowlers. They move off the pitch alright. But from the hand nobody can't move. In these conditions with 3 or 4 slips that ball is essential. After sreesanth we found no outswing bowlers. Link to comment

He is not like Irfan or Kapil. It is a rare skill. None illustrated that better than Dale Steyn. Link to comment
vvvslaxman
Among the current lot Shardul Thakur is the closest to the old style outswing bowling. But he sometimes bowls too short to make that ball effective. But he was excellent at the Gabba. Link to comment

vvvslaxman
Khawaja technically is a poor batsman. Hardly any feet movement. He is more or less static most of the time. HE just uses his hands. He has found a funky way to score runs. Link to comment
vvvslaxman
Damn India lost a world cup final that had Smith and Labu in the middle order what a shame lol They don't even play Test matches very well. Link to comment
