SA has lost many quicks due to quota.

Kyle Abott was another one.

Merchant De Lange used to generate serious pace even with a short runup, sadly injuries ruined him.

 

England actually produced some quick pacers from 2010 onwards, Jade Dernbach and Steven Finn...but both couldn't play for long.

Trundlers usually rule in England.

True. Relatively speaking. It's rare to see many properties quicks who are actually good.
