Series Whitewashes: 0-8 Fletchoni or potential 0-8 Shargam?

The Fletchoni double series whitewash on the 2011/12 Eng (0-4) and Aus (0-4) tours was as dark as it gets. Ageing washed up side that could not buy a run and toothless trundler bowling smashed around. Revealing stat is that legend Amit Mishra was 5th highest run scorer on the Eng tour :adore: and of course Dhoni had to bowl while a SOS was sent to a tubby RP Singh to come help from Miami beach. The Aus tour was a disaster and every match lost. Hence 0-8.

Now Sharma and Gambhir (Shargam) have teamed up and spinelessly lost 0-3 to a woefully mediocre NZ team missing its best batter. Another ageing washed up team will go to Aus and if they lose all 5 it could be another 0-8 double series blank-out.

So which would be the worst bearing in mind the quality of the opposition and the oldies? :pop2:

Say what you'll about that 2011 fiasco, that team didn't get humiliated and clean swept by a mediocre team at home. This is much worse. And it's not as if this team can win away. The 2011 team could at least win at home. This current lot headed by Rohit and Kohli can't win anywhere - home or away.

Not fair to put the blame on Gambhir. He might indeed turn out to be poor at coaching in future but can't be blamed for what he has inherited from Dravid after 2-3 months
