Cause there are no other batters left in India so let’s keep regurgitating rubbish.

RoKo PR coming out of the woodworks now.

No, I was a fan of Sourav Ganguly/yesteryear pak cricketers like saeed anwar/wasim akram/shoiab akthar/lara. Following  cricket since 30 years.

Cause there are no other batters left in India so let’s keep regurgitating rubbish.

Did kohli/rohit ask KL Rahul to be an eternal failure? Did they ask shubman gill to throw away his wicket? Did they ask suryakumar Yadav to be a t20 only player? Did they ask pant to bat like an idiot in key moments of the matches? Did they ask prithvi shaw to have disciplinary issues ? Did they ask shreyas Ayyar to have shortball weakness?

How many more excuses to gloss over failures of Kohli who's averaging 30 over the last 5+ years. He's statistically the worst averaging no. 4 across all teams. His performances are in Shan Masood category. The only player I've seen with 5+ years of non-performance.

Kohli hasn't "defied" anything. He's a walking wicket. He can't play pacers and can't play spinners either. We all saw how he performed in SL and in the recent home series against NZ. He was consistently bowled or LBW against spinners and he has regressed to such an extent he was bowled off a full toss against Santner and then made a "shocked Pikachu" face as always :giggle:

Kohli "defying" his age would be if he he was scoring runs and performing. That's the definition of the word "defying". He hasn't made a difference in his whole career scoring cheap bilateral runs and failing as usual when the stakes are high. He and Rohit were the reason for us going a decade without winning a single ICC tourney coz the "King" only delivered in bilaterals.

Cheap bilateral are defined as Kohli stepping up and performing in 2014 t20 World Cup semis against South Africa, 2014 t20 final against SL, 2016 t20 virtual quarter final against Australia, 2016 t20 semis against West Indies , 2022 t20 high profile world cup match against Pakistan and winning an impossible match, 2024 t20 final against South Africa.

Cheap bilaterals are also defined as Kohli  contributing a crucial 35 as a budding youngster in 2011 ODI final , match winning  2013 champions trophy final , 2023 ODI semi final with a century and 2023 ODI final with a half century on a difficult/slow wicket.

Did sachin win the 1996 semis ? Did he win 1996 quarter final? Did he win 2003 ODI World Cup  semifinal ? Did he win 2011 ODI finals? Did he win 2003 finals? No

Similar to kohli, he had other contributions like 2011 ODI semifinal, 1996 semifinal in a losing cause, 1998 sharja desert storm against Australia and 2007-2008 VB series final, 1998 independence cup final against PAK etc.

Yes an illiterate who is watching/following Indian cricket since 1995. Sachin for all his greatness was abysmal in ODI World Cup knock outs or tournament knock outs. He was also playing one less formant( t20 + IPL)

Wasim akram , the legendary fast bowler never put sachin in all time team of batters/top 10 batters, for the simple reason sachin never imposed himself unlike Lara or Kohli,

What? Sachin has one of the best record in all tournaments knockouts ever including in tournament finals. He also has a stellar record in quater finals and semi finals of world cup

Yes sure you been watching cricket buddy

For one Akram I can show you 100 all time XIs which includes Sachin. I love how you cherry picked one and ignored the 100s of other legends who included Sachin over Kohli

Again bringing t20 which Sachin never played. How do you know Sachin wouldn't have excelled in t20s.

And Sachin has contribution in other 2 semis, why does he need to contribute every single time when Kohli didn't?

At his peak in 90s, Tendulkar would've been an ideal T20 opener. He wasn't that explosive at the end of his career, which is to be expected, but when he started opening in ODIs he was explosive!

In his debut tour, when india toured pakistan, one of the matches was rain affected and turned into 20 overs.

Sachin hit a 18 ball 53 against pak bowlers including smashing qadir all around the park after he taunted him

At 16 years of age in 1989

Exactly my point. sachin or Lara or inzi did not score every knock out so did Kohli. That does not mean kohli is a bilateral bully where his records in knock out is exceptional in t20 followed by ODI.

I am talking about the work load of intense IPL + T20 on player fitness where sachin did not have to play this. No doubt, sachin player under bowler friendly conditions.

1992 india did not qualify. 1996 quarter final sidhu scored not sachin. 1996 semis sachin's knock in a losing cause 1999 Its Dada and David who scored in the must win game against SL 2003 ODI semis- Its again gangly 2007 ODI World Cup: india first round exit 2011: sachin scored half century in quarter final as well as semis

Record in 6 world cups

Kohli 2011 ODI final 35 2015 odi SEMIS --- failed 2019 ODI semis - failed albeit an unlucky dismissal of umpires call 2023 ODI World Cup : century in semis and half century in finals.

2014 t20 Man of the match in semis 2104 t20 worldcp final  highest sore 2016 t20 virtual quarter final against AUS  and semis against West Indies  2024 t20 final Man of the match

where did kohli fail and end up as bilateral bully ? or was it right to say Kohli is bilateral legend????
