It is quite normal. When Gill was surrounded by Kohli and Rohit. With all limelight on them, he didn't see himself as a star. Now with all eyes on him, he has got a perform. Even KL's case can be similar, need more sample.

Proven right that we'll improve once Kohli moves on. We would've won in Aus as well or at the very least drawn the series if we didn't have Rohit and Kohli in Aus.

Gill played 10 extra matches with Kohli still scored less runs lol That is a shocking stat
