Trichromatic Posted August 3, 2025 Posted August 3, 2025 These areas are not reflected in scorecards, but are making an impact in the game for current team.
Vickydev Posted August 3, 2025 Posted August 3, 2025 Gill will always review, even when the ball is crashing into middle of the middle stump and he is shouldering arms
Trichromatic Posted August 3, 2025 Author Posted August 3, 2025 3 reviews taken by Indian batsmen on plumb LBW and wasted all 3 reviews. Then Siraj was given LBW on edge and had no reviews left. When England was batting, LBW review was not taken when it was umpire's call. Quote Prasidh to Root, leg byes, 1 run, huge appeal for lbw is turned down! Gill deliberates and opts not to review. Good length delivery on middle-leg, hit the deck and nipped back in just a shade, Root was caugth in his crease and pinned on the front pad, looked like it might just have been heading down leg on first glance. Hawkeye says it would've hit leg-stump on umpire's call so the decision would've been upheld
Trichromatic Posted August 3, 2025 Author Posted August 3, 2025 Quote Siraj to Root, no run, that's another jaffa! Root has created so many chances today without reward! Good length delivery on off-stump, zipped through at pace and beat the outside edge after having Root pinned in his crease. Bowler seemed convinced that there was some bat on it, Jadeja too came running in saying he heard something, Gill isn't swayed and he doesn't review. Nothing on UltraEdge Gill controlling urge to not review by bowlers' hunch.
Trichromatic Posted August 3, 2025 Author Posted August 3, 2025 Krishna bowled as per plan, Brook fell for a short ball and was caught on boundary by Siraj, but then he couldn't balance himself.
Trichromatic Posted August 3, 2025 Author Posted August 3, 2025 Siraj had no idea where rope was, these catches are normal nowadays.
