In one the docos I saw on this case in every scene I saw her father with a bottle of beer... Plus the size of the bag was EXACTLY same as her boogie board , now why would someone at the airport pack the drugs in a bag that matches the bag cm by cm .. also her defense was weird , when asked that she carried the bag but didn't feel that it was heavier .. she replied that she dragged the bag .. I mean who would drag a bag that just has a boogie board since Boogie board doesnt even weigh 1/2 kg ... Good acting by the family .. :hatsoff:

Now some of us would say, in such a situation the onus to prove innocence is with the girl but some would say its with the customs dept. Neither could prove anything properly and since she was caught with the drugs the govt decided to put the burden of proof on the girl.

Weird her defense ? yes her defense is based upon that she didnt CARRY her bag for more than 20-25 mins and dragged it.. I mean think about it who drags a boogie-board bag around. Its so freaking light and also that baggage handlers in Aus put that in her bag, firstly, if so then why would they do it ? wouldnt they get someone to take it out before she got her bag ??? She is a very good actress, she fooled so many people here with her acting but now the truth is coming out. Her father has been convicted before (which she forgot), her brother has been caught selling drugs (she again forgot about this ), her sister has been a druggie (well she also forgot this), she herself has met couple of convicted Aussie drug dealers in prison cuz they are her family friends. Its a common route for drugs ie from Aus to South Asian countries since a lot of Aussies visit these tourist places and there is high demand for drugs. I think in the last 24 months 1 Aussie in singapore was given death sentence, 15 more caught in Indonesia and out of whom 5-6 face death sentence plus few more cases that I dont remember. Its good money if they make it .

The whole drug trafficking across aus by baggage handlers was made up by her lawyer. BTW her defense was exactly that. The baggage handlers put it in but forgot to take it out in Sydney.

The baggage handlers put it in but forgot to take it out in Sydney. Why would the baggage handlers take so much risk to send drugs from Gold coast to Syd .. its just 4-5 hrs drive . :nervous:
