India is still few years away to produce it's own rare earth. China has already told India to not supply Rare earth to US or to use it in defence.
US, theoretically, can still take it from Australia, but not sure if they have the capacity to clean it up and make useable.

I am sure its with the blessing of China after all money from whatever pak sells will goto China.

Yeah, it could be a possibility. China using Pak to sell rare earth to US, while asking India not to do the same...thereby making India-US relations even weaker.

 

Anyway, we will do what we need to do. India does have Rare earth substances. Govt is pumping money to setup its extraction process...by 2029-2030 we will be able to generate our own Rare earth. Till then, just use Australian or Brazilian Rare earth for exports and defence needs.

With the investment China has made to Pakistan , they will not be very happy with Pakistan's growing closeness to US. 

 

The CPEC would be in danger.
