Like Yuvi haters point out' date=' Odi record can be fluke but TEST RECORD Cant be.[/quote'] You're absolutely right. Outside India, he averages 41, and only has four 5+ wicket hauls in 29 test matches. Dude sucks donkey balls considering any half decent spinner will pick up wickets in India.

aaah....did that come from the rear end of yours ? :haha: Against Aus - 61.25 Against Pak - 44.10 Against SA - 26.10 His average after that 'comeback in t20 cup' - 38.56 Your welcome
Good job Blue- thx for separating the hype from facts

:hysterical::hysterical::hysterical::hysterical: So true ... because of his aggression and his OTT antics he remains in the headlines .. also sine he is our 2nd best spinner I dont think BCCI has a choice. Quite frankly, we can criticize him all we want but is there a spinner who can replace him ?

Yup, is there anything more predictable than this guy coming out with interviews about how he is going to destroy the opposition and win matches for India? Now don't be surprised but there is. Keep your eyes open for an interview from Yuvraj about how he is disappointed on missing out on the test series and given the conditions in SL it would have been a good chance for him and how he feels bad about not being given enough chances in test cricket. This duo has made media manipulation into an auxiliary support for their sagging careers. They've fooled fans and selectors alike and at least for now one of their bluffs has been called and the day Mishra is selected for the national squad no amount of parroting garbage is going to keep Harbhajan in the team either.
Bilkul true!

lol then howcome any half decemt spinner has made his mark..Plenty of spinenrs had played alongside him like bahutule , raju, karthik etc.. but he is always the first choice and have more wickets. NO WONDER KUMBLE KNOWS BETTER THAN YOU AND PICKS HIM TIME AFTER TIME...HAHAHAHA now go back to your hole.

I love how every hater is asking him to shut up and concentrate on his work. Preserve his energy for bowling. As if, it takes an enormous amount of effort for him to give some sound bytes to a despo media person. I agree his performance is below par, but threads like these are utterly meaningless, and crap. You people have spent more energy, asking him to stfu, but I think its you guys who need to stfu, this one time.

Maybe because it takes off attention from the real performers, the ishant and the gambhirs, who are trying to give their 100% each game? Whether it takes an enormous amount of energy or not, such interviews are completely useless, just used by media to fill their programs and does not help the team, does not add anything to the fans knowledge and when such statements dont come off, make the entire team look foolish. Maybe you should wonder why, such a large section of the country, do not admire these two prima donnas despite them playing for our own team!

What clarity of thought. Selection does not equal excellence or even quality as is clearly the case with Harbhajan. You've gone from saying he's a great wicket taker to simply he must be good because he gets picked. You're back peddling so much that pretty soon you'll end up back in your daddy's nut sack. How's that for a hole?

That statement doesnt make any sense. So you think the average Indian cricket fans has a got a IQ of 50 ? And what makes you believe they are not giving their 100% ? Just because Yuvraj fails in the tests, all his ODI and T-20 heroics are brushed away, just because, hey, test cricket is real cricket. There is a weird notion of attaching off-field habits to on-field heroics in India. Everyone wants them to be just playing cricket, and if they are caught to have, OMG LIFE outside cricket, and they fail the next time, it means they were not giving 100%.

You can(/could have said) say that about Gandhuly, too. At least at some point in his career. :-D

Bhajji has totally lost it and doesnt deserve to come anywhere close to the Indian team...sometimes he does act like a baby when batsmen are hitting him fourss and sixes... as if he has no clue what to bowl and his face changes as if he is begging batsman to give his wicket... what a tamatar attitude.... and check his quotes when he doesnt perform " o this flat is patta like parantha"..wtf.. sala sabun ki tikiya, you are in indian team so stop making those faces and quotes

That statement doesnt make any sense. So you think the average Indian cricket fans has a got a IQ of 50 ? Well i dont know about the average IQ of cricket fans in general but there are some great examples on this forum who get carried off with the hype of one or 2 innings. Add a good dose of regionalism and we have fans who are blind as bats And what makes you believe they are not giving their 100% ? Just because Yuvraj fails in the tests, all his ODI and T-20 heroics are brushed away, just because, hey, test cricket is real cricket. What heroics are you talking about? No really? Was he the best in the T20 competetion. No way. In ODIs he is way behind Sachin, Dhoni, Gambhir, Sehwag and even Ganguly in terms of recent performances. He averages around 40 when all the above are above 50. Not even in the same class. And he was the seniormost after Sehwag in the Asia cup. You can(/could have said) say that about Gandhuly, too. At least at some point in his career. :-D
the lack of commitment is clearly showing in the field. When youngsters like Rohit fight tooth and nail for his wickets while a pro like UV throws his wickets away, never learning from his mistakes, never taking the trouble to practise on his weakness against spinners. Youngsters could be excused for showing a weakness against Mendia but UV made our batting line up seem stupid. Alos you might have noticed that no one else gives interviews about parties so no one gets questioned. Dhoni has been scoring prodigiiously in ODIs and even in this series, he has batted wth responsibility so his extra-curricular activities dont get questioned. But UV has not.
