The Outsider
Tendulkar and Laxman won't be able to bat above number 7, keeping that in mind here is the batting order I would choose : 1. Sehwag 2. Gambhir 3. Kumble 4. Harbhajan 5. Zaheer 6. Ganguly 7. Tendulkar 8. Laxman 9. Dravid 10. Parthiv 11. Ishant Link to comment
fineleg
Ishant Sharma shud be sent at #4 instead of Harbhajan Singh in Prof's lineup above. Link to comment
Predator_05
Dravid at 9 ??? That will never happen I'd have Parthiv at #3. Link to comment
The Outsider
Dravid at 9 ??? That will never happen I'd have Parthiv at #3. They will need to think of something different. With Murali and Mendis the tail can't be expected to last long so Tendulkar/Laxman will end up running out of partners. Link to comment
umpire
the tail lasted for 100 odd deliveries against M & M. Link to comment
cowboysfan
not a bad idea(for a change) but it will never happen. Link to comment
The Outsider
not a bad idea(for a change) but it will never happen. Well, Tendulkar and Laxman will have to bat at 7 or lower because of time spent off the field so hopefully the think tank will give them lower order support to bat. Link to comment

The Outsider
didnt know that-is it a serious injury for both of them? Laxman was off the field for the entire day and Tendulkar from before lunch. According to the rules they need to either bat at 7 or below or spend as much time in the dressing room during our batting as they did away from the field during injury before they can bat. Not sure about the extent of the injuries - there aren't many updates on it. Link to comment
Dravid
wow would be cool to see something like that :D Link to comment
King
Just reverse the batting line up other than the openers and that'll take care of it. Dravid will then has to come at no.11 :winky: Link to comment
MundaPakistani
Dravid at 9... Just for a second i thought you were making fun of Dravid but this is actually an excellent idea. Link to comment
Holysmoke
Sehwag Gambhir Dravid Zaheer/Ishant Kumble Ganguly Tendulkar Laxman Parthiv Harbhajan Zaheer/Ishant Link to comment
sandtest
a 250+ lead will be enough for either team. A lot depends on bowling. Link to comment
MundaPakistani
Tony just mentioned that Tendulkar will be allowed to come in at his normal position. Link to comment
