Bumper
Akthar's recent return, brings back some funny memories. Here are some old quotes of mine, almost all of which have come true: There is a method to PCB's madness: World cup loss => Sack coach, sack captain Series loss vs India => Sack coach or captain. Injury to key bowlers => Bring back Sami. After series against India => sack Sami After Shoaib's antics => If no games are pending vs India, full ban sentence, else ban ends right before the games against India If Farhat & Butt opened last time, pick Taufeeq and Hameed this time & vice versa. If Afridi played in the last series => Sack him If Afridi did not play in the last series => Bring back Afridi If Gul says fit, he's fit If Akhtar says he's not fit, he's fit. KKR will be ecshiting for sure, but for the wrong reasons. This is just a typical part of Akhtar's career cycle. Raving fan following, Self promoting speeches, Non performance, Tantrums, Friction with team mates, Contraversies, ban, all followed by great performance and then injury. At this point, Shoaib is close to the final phase of the cycle. After this phase, the cycle will reset Banned for five years ?:haha: Wait till India or Australia sets foot on Pak soil, for the ban to be revoked. Methinks Shoaib will likely be back by the ICC CT or even as early as the Asia cup. Link to comment

sandtest
How similiar political situation is in Paki-satan. Now replace PCB with brave Lota presidente almighty Mushaar-rat and you are the latest prophet of that joke of a country :haha: Link to comment
fineleg
Kamran Akmal also made a mildly surprising comeback into the squad, having lost his place to Sarfraz Ahmed during the Asia Cup, due mainly to exceedingly poor form behind the stumps. But Pakistan's selection committee has banked on Akmal's batting strength and experience. Dropmal in :yay: Sehwag can nick those deliveries happily! Link to comment
