We had such a great chance to thrash SL and avenge all our previous defeats but our batsmen made such a small target look like hard work. Pathan, Raina and Rohit all failed and shud be dropped. All of them are passengers. And Rohit's batting is mediocre and he CAN'T MAKE RUNS. And he DROPPED A CATCH. And who is this Kulasekapappuara? He looked so bad in the tests but we made him look like a juiced up Asif today! :angry_smile: If SL set us 170 next game we will LOSE!

Its a confidence boosting win because at least now we are back level with them in the series. Lets not start nitpicking yet ... we havent won many matches at all lately. As for the idea of dropping all these players. I see no point in selecting a young team if we're gonna drop them at the first sign of trouble.

We had medicore players in the sense comparing them to the great likes of sachin, sehwag and gambhir at the top. pathan is terrible and incosistent generally, raina and rohit are out of form and that they probably dont usually play under so much pressure considering mendis, they are not playing an easy side, they dont have senior players like i mentioned and that will put pressure to act in tough conditions, raina to an extent even tough he is a ftb in india against england i am talking about. Yuvi is clueless against mendis kholis second matc, did well. Dhoni slighly unlikely Bhaji is just a pain in the ass, missed out on 900 runs in odis:D

He has to be sent to open. Mendis is going to get him 5/5 in the ODIs unless YS can be sent up the order. Cannot say much abt Kholi and Badri yet. This was as low a total as they will get to chase in the entire tournament. They did it but not convincingly yet. Lets see the rest of the matches. With both GG and VS out, we need to fly in S. Dhawan - how many matches does MSD plan to open the inn with Kholi and IK Pathan!!! Force the selectors to fly in Dhawan.

However, the limit has crossed from nonsensical duplicate ids to abusing privileged powers (I dunno if u were in the forum yesterday when he incessantly deleted several normal posts that were not abusive to anyone - many posters here were witness to that repeated blatant abuse of privileges of Admin powers). Thats more worrisome. He used the one special privilege he had - of being able to delete posts - to unfairly use it, and do this shameful act repeatedly. That is a clear abuse of power to settle personal scores on the forum. I have saved the deleted posts, and can post it again to prove to anyone how it did not have malicious content, and was deleted based on personal vendetta only.
