Ram
This is inspired from the 'Wasted Talents' thread. Feel free to list those players whom you were amazed to see representing India, despite being really poor cricketers. Here's mine to start with, in no particular order; Vikram Rathore Aashish Kapoor Thiru Kumaran Iqbal Siddiqui Vijay Bharadwaj Deep Dasgupta MSK Prasad David Johnson Abey Kuruvilla *Forgot the name of the Indian keeper who scored a 100 in West Indies when we went there around 2003/04* Link to comment

Ram
I am tempted to include Debashish Mohanty in this list too. He was effin pathetic, even slower than medium pace and took the odd magical wicket with his stupid action. Again there was this another Orissa 'fast bowler', who was much hyped up when he played for India. He was utter nonsense. Link to comment
kumble_rocks
Abhey Kuruvilla was a decent bowler . Unfortunately he got badly injured and lost lot of pace... Link to comment
Holysmoke
I heard Ankola was really quick too. Link to comment
Ram
That Abhey Kuruvilla managed to play for India for as long as he did, is a sad reflection of our fast bowling resources back then. Thank God those times are gone. Link to comment

Dinx - the Jinx
sairaj bahutule was a good talent i suppose. he was definitetly a good bowler for mumbai. strangely he never made the cut at the international level. he shud be in the wasted talent xi (wasted - cud be by the bcci or by the player himself) Link to comment
Mr. Wicket
This is stunning. You are all forgetting the one and only, the epitome of mediocrity, a man who made a career around bringing a water pistol to a gunfight. SANDAAAAAAAASKAR! Link to comment

But Dodda Ganesh and Harvinder Singh were really crap :-D Link to comment
