Analyse the aussies

It is silly to say India can overpower Aus easily just coz they have "newer faces" relatively speaking. This IS the aus test team, and they are very capable of toppling India esp since we never know when "apna Fabulously great" play fabulously and when they play like club cricketers. Indian team have their work cut out - this is a tough series.

Aussies are too good a team to get rolled over. Unless India can produce brilliant cricket and post huge scores Aussies will prevail. It sounds a pretty even contest but past achievements don't count for anything. Even someone like Tendulkar or Ponting start afresh. Champions like Australia if provided that little hole, will zap turn it on. This series isn't for the faint hearted and expect a lot of turns and twists. Been a while since I was this excited watching a cricket series.

we may get rid off hayden and hussey, the two dangermen early but what india will not be able to do is get through the tail lee will score 50, johnson and clark will follow him with 40s india's bowling may be good enough for their top and middle order, but isn't skillful enough to get rid of the tail

There is no way any of them apart from Ponting will be in world 11 on current form. Sehwag Smith Sangakara Ponting Chanderpaul Peiterson Dhoni Flintoff Brett Lee Murali Steyn
gee that makes sense flintoff has hardly played in the last 2 years and dhoni didn't even play your last test series. Smith has had the worst batting slump he has ever had in the last 2 years. Also australia would have no one in the team if you go on current form because we have only played 3 test matches in the last 10 months.

Yuvraj made a major boo boo in declaring in the BP 11 game. We could have ended Krejas test career and not given Punter the comfort of having a few runs in India under his belt.
That's very true I guess you could also say that they should have let kreija take wickets so australia would pick him then clobber him in the test but because he didn't take a wicket it's better for us because he is not picked in the side now.

Flintoff has made very good comeback, and SMITH has gotten his form back in the SA-Eng series. Say all you want dude. Hayden is in crappy form too, and came back from injury, so why are you putting him in world XI ? If not on form, how do you chose world XI ? By stats ? Then half the Indian team will be there.
