fineleg Posted October 6, 2008 Posted October 6, 2008 http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20081006/ap_on_re_as/as_asia_tainted_milk Does India need to watch out and make strict regulations as well? Used to be H2O mixed with milk was rampant in India, but who knows what else? I hope Ind govt is strict abt food regulations as well.
punjabi_khota Posted October 6, 2008 Posted October 6, 2008 I have heard allegations of dihydrogen mono-oxide mixed in milk as well. I have heard it degrades the quality of milk tremendously, but has been found to reduce the number of fat-asses in the country. Mixed blessings.
beetle Posted October 7, 2008 Posted October 7, 2008 Urea mixed milk is what we get in some places...specially UP.
DomainK Posted October 7, 2008 Posted October 7, 2008 Back home in Orissa, its easy. You can offer a bucks extra and ensure pure milk. In any case, they dont mix dangerous substances in milk. Here in 'B'ombay (I love the B, Raj) you just can not trust anyone. I have been using Nestle's packaged milk and I believe its good.
