Cricketics Posted March 18, 2007 Posted March 18, 2007 my 8-10 paki friends bought wc from Dish and Direct tv for 200 bucks.. i feel sad for them, they were waiting for the wc to start from 4 years, and the wc for them didnt even last for 5 days.. this was a pretty sad story, 3 of them even called dish, that they want to cancel it, but as the subcribed event was alredy on from past days, dish ppl just ignored them and didn't do anything. now they are all depressed. if u have any such story to share, then please do.

Not with standing India's results I have thoroughly enjoyed the Ireland v Zimboks, Ireland v Pakistan, NZ v Eng and Pakistan v WI. There is plenty of cricket to look forward to but I understand the plight of Pakistan cricket fans. Imagine if India lose to Bermuda tomorrow. :shrug:

Even if India gets out after round 1, I will happily watch the other teams who have the guts to fight it out. It is the world cup man. Sachin and Dravid aren't going to screw it totally for me.
