Ishant is still young ' date=He has all attributes needed to be a top class bowler ,I am sure he will sort out his technical problems .
when we are stopp this argument...he may be young but he alreday played 4 years of International cricket..when he will learn after retiring :banghead:

Stats do not show the whole picture in his last 10 tests he did win us 2 tests and got a 5 fer in sa and bowled well agianst australia in india on a flat track,he had a bad england tour .

He has technical problems with his action like seam position ,which he can solve as earlier his position was better .

FIRST OF ALL IF YOU THINK CHANGING YOUR NAME WILL GET YOU WICKETS YOU ARE STUPID, a bowler should know good balls will get him wickets lol,Ishant needs to do something with the ball in the air or off the track and bowl in an area consistently.He needs to play County for a season or two, nothing like bowling day in and day out, he has the required skills, needs to understand his bowling, figure out his length and bowl with discipline and in right areas, Sreesanth was also an underachiever given his talent but atleast he moved the ball quite well, also was tall and had pace,I don't know of any g8 bowler or bat not being successful because he was lucky, good players make their own luck , he is lacking an ingredient to make him more successful bcoz his record in OZ or in general is very poor for his potential.

Any county would want to play Ishant especially in 4-day games. I have seen worse bowlers in counties. You dont get over 100 test wickets with 2 MOS without any talent or ability. Anyone can have bad time. Remember how Anderson used to struggle to take wickets 2 years ago and was dropped, same goes for Broad before India series.

People are bit over the top critical on him in my view. He still has two tests in this series to perform if he fails then he needs to return to domestic cricket and work hard.All this talks of going for county cricket are unnecessary he just needs to work on his bowling in Ranji trophy.
There are no domestic test matches left for Delhi. Now, only semifinals and finals left. He will have to wait till year end now to play in Ranji trophy. County is the best and last option for him. But, I'd still like to continue with him. The bowling coach just needs to fine tune his bowling as he has everything going at the moment, just not taking wickets

Well sreesanth was bowling good at that time and averaging around 30.But point is why ishant needs county? He has already a good work ethic,He just needs a proper bowling coach ,even his own childhood coach would be able to point and repair his problems .

indeed - they don't show how he irritated the Captain, how he over appealed and got fined, how he acted on the pitch. p.s. the stats do show the he leaks runs even in Test cricket.
