King Tendulkar Posted November 17, 2008 Posted November 17, 2008 Seems very unlikely but we are 2-0 up now. England have been patheitc technically and tactically. They seem devoid of any game plan or intent as shown by Priors pathetic knock. They also seem to have no confidence! Also we have top players to come in like Sachin and Ishant. They have Swann:(( We are playing well and they are awful. This is why a brown wash just maybe on!
fineleg Posted November 17, 2008 Posted November 17, 2008 too many ODIs - just out of boredom, they'll win some
Holysmoke Posted November 17, 2008 Posted November 17, 2008 Nah. We still lack that "Killer" instinct. Complacency creeps in.
DomainK Posted November 17, 2008 Posted November 17, 2008 Its possible. Though I think we will give away a match or two out of sheer complacency.
sharma Posted November 17, 2008 Posted November 17, 2008 they were much better today, i'd say we'll win by 5-2 or 4-3
Kartikey Posted November 17, 2008 Posted November 17, 2008 we'lll get bored in the 6th ODI and lose. Then we will bounce back in the last ODI to win 6-1.
Holysmoke Posted November 20, 2008 Posted November 20, 2008 3-0. Brown wash still on! England must be thinking.. now they will take their foot off the pedal. Then they will find out that in comes Tendulkar. :hysterical:
SachDan Posted November 20, 2008 Posted November 20, 2008 5-2 or 6-1 .. 7-0 For that we want SRT to play in all remaining games.
cochise Posted November 20, 2008 Posted November 20, 2008 I think SRT for Raina...he has been scratchy...but great in the field. Rohit? Difficult call...may be that is why Cheeka was looking so serious...can't make up his mind about this...
Dirty_South Posted November 20, 2008 Posted November 20, 2008 Raina is brilliant in the field. So drop RS and bring in SRT !
Sachinism Posted November 20, 2008 Posted November 20, 2008 India could do it, but if the series is secure, we will rest players and give others a try. India won't be clinical, they'll play for fun, maybe use of the games for a slog out
Dinx - the Jinx Posted November 20, 2008 Posted November 20, 2008 7-0 is still on if we play all matces with equal seriousness. Not a problem if SRT comes in. But the question is, at what psition he will bat? Are we going to disturb the rampaging opening duo of Viru and Gamhir. Bringing in Tendu is easy, slotting him in a position is going to be tricky. At the end of the day if India wins 7-0 it will be great. But if SRT comes in and India loses, can we drop him or the remaining matches?

Rox, why are you entertaining dinakar ?? he don't have anything positive to say about Sachin.
Lord Posted November 20, 2008 Posted November 20, 2008 Rox' date=' why are you entertaining dinakar ?? he don't have anything positive to say about Sachin.[/quote'] oh i didnt see the poster's name. i just replied to the post. i said if he plays really badly, which he wont do:two_thumbs_up:we can drop him,he will kill england tho.as u said no.43 and even 44 beckons
Dravid Posted November 20, 2008 Posted November 20, 2008 after we lead 5-0... they will win next 2, because we will have noobs playing, though it will make matches close then :D
cochise Posted November 20, 2008 Posted November 20, 2008 But the noobs may be out to prove themselves and win even bigger...have the English come to this? For their sake, they better pull out a win in the next one for honour and country....otherwise they seriously risk a humiliation at the hands of champs and noobs alike If they do, we may have a fight on our hands for the remainder of the series...though we should win even that easily.
