SachDan Posted November 21, 2008 Posted November 21, 2008 Walsh pales in comparison with Chris Martin :giggle: Danny Morrison is one that comes to mind immediately.
King Tendulkar Posted November 21, 2008 Posted November 21, 2008 Devon Malcomn. Unfortunatley the genuine number 11 is a dying breed. In this modern age they all work on their batting and are half decent or at least look half decent. Not like the old days were a bowler would say I am bowler who bowls and not bother about batting at all. Miss those days of the hopeless but charming 11 walking to the crease. The crowd would give them the biggest cheer of the day and if they managed to hit a 4:--DIt would give everyone a smile even the oppo. Now even if they are rubbish their stance and technique look ok. Oh for the days of Walsh, Tuffers and Malcolmn batting, O what fun it was
King Tendulkar Posted November 21, 2008 Posted November 21, 2008 The courtney walsh leave, one of the great sites of cricket!

jf1gp_1 Posted November 21, 2008 Posted November 21, 2008 have you ppl seen Venkatesh prasad bat ? he was worst than munaf
SachDan Posted November 21, 2008 Posted November 21, 2008 have you ppl seen Venkatesh prasad bat ? he was worst than munaf He was a very bad bat.But remember him scoring 20 odd runs against Pak at Toronto with couple of huge sixes.
King Tendulkar Posted November 21, 2008 Posted November 21, 2008 There were plenty who were bad. But who was bad and entertaining at same time? No one better then Walsh for this, it was pure theatre when he was batting. That leave of his, priceless!
Lord Posted November 21, 2008 Author Posted November 21, 2008 where is Monty Panesar?????? he entertaining, but has a good technique for a no.11
King Tendulkar Posted November 21, 2008 Posted November 21, 2008 he entertaining' date='but has a good technique for a no.11[/quote'] he has a cover drive that when it comes of is top draw
Mr. Wicket Posted November 21, 2008 Posted November 21, 2008 Walsh pales in comparison with Chris Martin :giggle: Danny Morrison is one that comes to mind immediately. Morrison saved a test against England batting for 2+ hours.
vroomfondel Posted November 21, 2008 Posted November 21, 2008 wow, west indies has a history... valentine, FC avg of 5, and Lance Gibbs is similar...makes Walsh look like a batting colossus.
