Cricketics Posted December 13, 2008 Posted December 13, 2008 pray for rain in madras, ticz well u can pray that, if you are an english fan.. an Indian fan won't..
Guest Hiten. Posted December 13, 2008 Posted December 13, 2008 haha, we are losing the test and u will also see that. either win or draw says ticz :hysterical: pray for rain in madras, ticz We might lose this because we are short of genuine one down player :hysterical: @tics...kya jawab diya hain :two_thumbs_up:
fineleg Posted December 13, 2008 Posted December 13, 2008 blue brigade lets see what the rest of them also score...if only rd is the prob or rest also score 20s n 30s
Guest Hiten. Posted December 13, 2008 Posted December 13, 2008 blue brigade lets see what the rest of them also score...if only rd is the prob or rest also score 20s n 30s We saw that in the first innings. We shall see that in 2nd innings too :winky: When SRT fails, he is the one to be blamed for poor performance of team India; no matter how the other batsmen fared :hysterical: Oh finey and IT's hypocrisy:finger:
fineleg Posted December 13, 2008 Posted December 13, 2008 haha what a way to defend SRT, saying RD is the problem, when he (SRT) also fails :D Anyway we will wait and see whether the great batting lineup is able to save the Test as is required of them.
satishg Posted December 13, 2008 Posted December 13, 2008 haha' date=' we are losing the test and u will also see that. either [b']win or draw says ticz :hysterical: pray for rain in madras, ticz wats wrong in that..as he said we are fans of Indian cricket not English cricket..so wat do u expect us to say India will lose..

fineleg Posted December 13, 2008 Posted December 13, 2008 fans does not mean u bury your head in the sand. take a look at this: They are nearly 250 ahead with 7 wickets remaining. Even if we bowl out of the world we will get 7 wickets for say 125 runs. Thats a 375 lead. More likely they will get a 400+ or closer to 450 range. With 7 wickets certainly possible. And then we are going to bat under that kind of lead in 4th Inn in Indian pitch which augurs for what?

fineleg Posted December 13, 2008 Posted December 13, 2008 yeah, i will also 'want' an indian win. i am *not* going to 'root' for England to win. But, I know that logic clearly says that if we play the entire match without rain, then extremely high chance of Eng win. Therefore I *dont want* england to win and get a 1-0 lead over us. Hence (precisely due to the reason i dont want eng to win), the most practical thing (given the current situation) is to hope the madras rains that usually comes during cricket arrives here. if u dont see the practical aspect of this, then you can close ur eyes, and hope and imagine india winning, when you open ur eyes, you will have to read the news and see reality right?

SRT's 37 is termed as failure whereas RD's 3 runs are nothing but "sign of him being in bad form and he needs our support in these bad times " :hysterical:

I am sure you would have said the same thing when India were in deep sh it in Kolkata 2001. Haven't you learned ANYTHING from that game ? Cricket itself is full of surprises, why don't you try to enjoy those surprises instead of guessing what's inside the box every ***ing time ? If you are so sure of India's loss, stop posting here till the end of the match and go do something productive. Most of us here are rooting for India barring the current situation. You do not have to be a "fan with practical thinking". Go to padosi's board and post your thinking, maybe they'll like you better than us.

I dont care if thats ur POV. If you cannot see that Calcutta 2001 is a once in a while rare thing. It was a fantastic match, but you are expecting that to happen here - then you dont know what a rare game is. Even Tied Test happened in Madras and we've had how many Tied Tests in history of the game over years and years and years of cricket? Yes, tied test can happen here too - not saying 0 chance, but probability is very very low. Hope u get that.

Cricket has lots of twists and turns, and this match is no calcutta 2001...we are in a far better position than that, and with a couple of quick wickets could end up chasing 300-330...

So how about you think that the Indian batsmen will help India draw or win this game, which itself is a rare possibility according to you, no? In the process of tagging yourself the most sensible Indian cricket fan, you have actually made yourself look like a foolish fan than most of us.
fineleg Posted December 13, 2008 Posted December 13, 2008 blue brig, even satishg who is differing here has stated in match thread that ind has to bat out of their skins (or to that effect) to salvage this game. will we bat out of our skins in 2nd Inn? ok, i'd like to see that, but the way i saw them bat in 1st inn, focus was missing. hope we do miraculous in 2nd inn.
