Ram Posted December 21, 2008 Posted December 21, 2008 More inactive accounts means more maintainance for banks. More maintainance means more cost. In today's world of cost-cutting, its best to prune the accounts so that they can serve their 'real-value' customers better.

You are just adding to the inventory and book-keeping, and adding to loss to the company.
