Is the series victory so much more important than a test victory?

The problem is ... many of the people in the Indian media who are criticising Dhoni now for not going for a win would have criticised him if he went for the win and lost ... they would have said that he took too much of a gamble and did not consider the bigger picture.

What dhoni did was very understandable, and 1-0 is a series win over a pretty good and balanced English Test side.

This test match was headed towards draw anyway, given the fog and poor light conditions in morning and Sehwag's runout dismissal yesterday. Congrats for 1-0 win against a quality test team like England!!:two_thumbs_up:

england is a crappy team.they havent beaten any quality team for 2 yrs.wee beat them 1-0 in their own backyard (even that should have been 2-0) we needed to thrash them at home.1-0 (esp.with eng dominating the first test) doesnt sound like a thrashing at all
