The reason why I mentioned missionaries, beacuse they do operate in Slums....more important thing is, if India continues ignoring Evangelicalization of slum areas and tribal areas in India, then in next 20 years another big disaster is awaiting us. Why can't some Indians make movies on this issue? They are the best way to make public aware as movies connect with masses instantly. let's do our own born again slumdog:giggle:

Okay abhi sane response hai to sane response deta hoon(RSS waala baaja ignore kar diya). The scene goes thus. The two kids are running for their lives(Has happened in Mumbai). They run to the Cops who ignore them(again has happened). Then they run away. In between they pass a gali and at the end of it they see a little kid dressed as Ram. That is extremely well done scene and nowhere is Ram rioting. Aur statue to hai bhi nahin. The scene is followed by Irffan Khan looking away as Jamaal says - I wish I didnt know the answer to that question(whats in the hand of Ram). If it was not for Ram and Allah I would still have a Mother. Personally I extremely liked that little scene. Now you may not like it, quite fair, but dont pass faltoo ka rumours man. xxx

But anyway, the reason shown for Child loosing his mother is Shri Ram as evil Hindus killed him rioting. Chapter Close. I don't know how Lurker finds these portrayal of evil Hindus killing Muslims justified and goes on praising the scene. Imagine, the controversy if they dare to show some Jeehadis slitting throats, entire dhimmi Indian media will go upside down harping that India's secular fabric is destroyed. Just beacuse we Hindus are tolerant and ignore such balatant protrayals doesnot mean that it should become a norm to show riots only by evil Hindus.

Pranayam karein aur saal bhar Paanchjanya parhne se door rahein. Oke mr know it all then tell us why was nto some muslim symbolism shown with those words or christian.. reminds me of a movie Mr and Mra Aiyar there they show a jew gentleman disclosing the idenitity of a muslim couple to rioters and soemhow it was fine.. First of all how often one sees a jew in bus in India director seemed to have gone oout of his way to put jew character.. needless to say movie got awards in india.. Yes no need to mention that hindus were shown rioting lunatics and muslim guy was clean-shaven with liberal outlook Movie got award......... At the same time poor francois gautier got his art shows banned just because he showed Aurangjeb frying sikkh gurus a historical tale worthy of showing if not award but that got banned... Because it is a movie and it has its own storyline. It wasnt made to please DR, or his team members. This is no documentary about who has done what in Mumbai. This is a story about a boy. He loses his mother in a riot. He also gets screwed by his brother(who incidentally is a Muslim). More often than not this chap gets thrashed for the ills of his brother. What was the need for that either? Why couldnt he just have a friend, Anil maybe, who was a param #$%^*??? Movie ko movie hi rahne do. Jyaada serious le lete ho aur ghanton bakwaas karte ho..bina dekhe. :((

But how is this any different from his many movies which only shows the live of opulence. Kabhi kushi always gham, was extreme too , that it never showed indias poverty. Why does he think that slumdog needs to show indias wealth? Danny boyle, Mira nair sells Indias poverty to westerners. Amitabh bachan, Shah rukh khan sells Indias wealth to Indians. There is no difference between them.
