has applied for a 6 month medical leave from Apple. There's been a lot of speculation about his health, esp with his uncontrolled weight loss. He did not take part in the just concluded Macworld in Sanfrancisco, where he gives his now legendary keynote speeches. Recently, he sent out an announcement saying that his body was losing valuable protiens due to a 'hormonal imbalance', but two day ago, in an internally circulated e-mail to Apple employees, he has said that his medical problems were 'more complex than previously imagined' and is taking a 6 month medical leave from Apple. Hopefully, he makes a full recovery. He is truly, one of the great visionaries of the tech industry. The whole industry, let alone Apple, needs him badly. SteveJobsHealth-thumb.jpg610x.jpg

That is an amazing story. Job's decision to get Scully on board was one of the worst decisions he has ever taken. I have read the book by Scully, I will someday read the one that Jobs wrote.
