its gonna be selected on 18th i think zak should be rested.hes been overworked.n we need him fit n raring to go in NZ.also this is a good opp to try youngsters my team: sehwag gauti raina yuvraj rohit dhoni yusuf pathan bhajji irfan ishant munaf reserves: mishra kohli vijay RP/PK,whoever is fit.

Nope all the resting has been done..Zak is very much a rhythm bowler..if you want his best performance in NZ,get him in the groove now.So my team would be.. Sehwag Gauti Sachin Raina Yuvraj Dhoni Rohit/Yusuf Bhajji Zak Ishant Munaf. RESERVES: Kohli,Yusuf/Rohit,Praveen/Sreesanth,Irfan,Jadeja/Ojha We beat them without Sehwag,Sachin and Ishant last time around..wonder what will happen this time,LOL.

i just feel he doesnt need to play these ODIs.we have a strong batting lineup anyway n sachin will be needed in ODIs n tests in NZ.these ODIs are not so crucial.so sachin wont be missed

Both ZK and Ishant get better in different conditions the more they bowl so it's great that we've got the ODI's first so that these two can fine tune their lengths and angles in NZ conditions. It also helps that ZK has previous experience in NZ and bowled some terrific stuff early in his career against them. The later ODI's these can guys can get a rest and the other bowlers can chip in.

He is a semi-allrounder at best..same as Yusuf Pathan.Probably come down to him vs Ojha i guess..because i think Yusuf is a definite selection into the squad.

he was fifth in the list of run-getters (729 runs at 72.90) and second in the wicket-takers list behind Mohnish Parmar with 39 wickets.i would call him a genuine all-rounder.

that is the default team.i am more interested in the reserves.hope we take ravindra jadeja and kohli.

if yuvraj can handle them,yusuf can too.he was the guy who hit Murali for two consecutive sixes in IPL final.he surely plays spin well

hes not a seudo allrounder,hes a genuine one.he was just in bad form n hopefully has recovered playing in ranjis

for me a genuine all-rounder is one who can make a team just on one phase of his cricket-either bowling or batting-thats just me though.

Irfan is a fine player, its only a matter of time before he comes good again, very much like Sehwag did after his comeback. And if we are to play Yusuf at 7 and 4 specialist bowlers, we need Irfan to bolster the batting order. And Yusuf has to play. He can be a game-changer, especially in power-play situations. I also woulnt mind swapping Raina for either Kohli or Rohit.
