I just threw my last shopping list. Let me see if I remember some of the items: - Lactose free milk - Sealtest 2% Milk - Extra virgin olive oil - sugar, salt - Dempster's Smart Bread - Dempster's 12 grain bread - Bran Flakes Cereal - Rusk Biscuits - Gits -- Rasmalai (actually made it today) - Saag - Spinach, brocolli - Apple - Omega 3 Supplements - Flour - Sher Atta - minute maid orange juice

No High-fructose corn syrup? Most mass-produced bread has HFCS - because Americans have a bit of a sweet tooth. Italian bread (even mass-produced) does not have it. It tastes better - that's for sure. All that said, the new attacks on HFCS are ridiculous. People don't understand that HFCS itself is not the issue (in reality, it is no different than regular sugar in composition)*. It is the over-consumption of sodas (which happen to be loaded with HFCS) that is the problem. People have a choice to stop drinking sodas - but they won't. They'd rather blame the corn industry for "poisoning" their drink. Ridiculous. * - Regular sugar is glucose-fructose 50-50. HFCS is glucose-fructose 45-55.

lol, I remember laying off Yogurt!!! because of hcfs. Then, I thought f it. Good to know it's not as bad as they make it to be...
If you have a choice - lay off sweetened yogurt - even if they are using "natural" honey or sugar as the sweetener. Not because it will kill you, but you could do without the extra calories (esp. at my age).

milk 2% non fat yogurt 45 calorie wheat bread lunch meats-i love Serrano and sometimes proscuitto and just plain ham cereal-oats and raisins fresh orange juice meats- boneless chicken kheema or sliced pork. fish-usually tilapias lots of veggies fruits ozarka water

Every week; Some 8 oz. chicken breasts, a few rotisserie chickens, 1 gallon of whole milk, 10 cans of tuna in oil, whole wheat bread, 2 boxes of cereal/musli, a few boxes of spaghetti, 2 bottles of spaghetti sauce, 22 oz of ham, a pack of potato knishes, 2 packs of bagels, some peanut butter, box of chewy granola bars, a box of oats, and a sh[itload of roasted peanuts.

I use smart balance butter which actually doesn't smell good .Just okay .However for health point of view,i use that .

Simple enough: Bocca Burgers Wheat Bread Pepperjack cheese singles Spicy mustard sauce Vegan mayonaise Tomatoes Bellpeppers Lettuce leaves Mustard oil Textured tofu Cheerios Skim or 2% Reduced fat milk Folgers dark roast coffee and occassionally Gatorade powder EAS chocolate whey protein Powerbar's Protein bars Nature Grain's trail mix snack bars **** load of apples and bananas pineapples and the occassional oranges rarely every do i deviate from this list. though i do buy ginger and cloves for the morning cuppa.

Let me expand little more on fish because that's my favourite ( No I am not bong) Rohu(Carp), Tilappia,Trout, cat-fish, perch = Gravy style either with onion or with mustard seed paste Jhinga = Dried gravy mode Salmon = In grilling mode Smelt = In fried mode, usually for evening snack with baked chura(poha) and as usual some red wine Fish fat ( not egg)= In pakora mode again as snack .. Caviar( Sturgeon)= Once in a blue moon
