Sachinism Posted March 3, 2009 Posted March 3, 2009 i can't believe some pakistani fans are wishing that .....it was Indian team in that bus instead of SL team and one or two of those grenades would have blasted .....how sick!!! DO THEY THINK PAK WOULD HAVE SURVIVED IF INDIAN TEAM VISTING PAK WOULD HAVE BEEN HURT OR INJURED OR KILLED?? Its one person, don't bring stuff over from that site to here If you have a problem with his comment, reply there
ludhianvi Posted March 3, 2009 Posted March 3, 2009 Condolences to the Sri Lankan players and to the families of the the security personnel. It seems the security for the Sri Lankan team was not enough considering that the bullets penetrated the bus and very few security guards. The reason could be that the PCB did not see the Sri Lankan team under threat. Had it been the Indian team, I am sure the best security would have been provided. Underestimating the security required for the Sri Lankan team, has put the Pakistan cricket in dire straits and that seems to be an understatement. Its almost as if the Sri Lankan team was taken for granted. Sri Lanka, being the team to visit Pakistan after many had refused should have deserved better. Listening to the bus driver in an interview, he explained that one of the grenades missed the bus and just when the bus passed it, the grenade went off. Just imagine that the grenade gone off when the bus was passing.
Desi Cartman Posted March 3, 2009 Posted March 3, 2009 What makes you an expert? :finger: i think its high time Pakistan lets go of the areas fighting for freedom from pakistan :P ..
Macj Posted March 3, 2009 Posted March 3, 2009 i think its high time Pakistan lets go of the areas fighting for freedom from pakistan :P .. Ahem - theyre fighting for the Kashmiris when closer to home the Pashtus and Sindis want independence. With what face do they claim Kashmir for themselves!?
EnterTheVoid Posted March 3, 2009 Posted March 3, 2009 You guys are far too diplomatic. You need to start growing a thick skin, because at this time, our neighbors will bark endlessly about conspiracy theories that involve RAW / Indian Govt to save their own ***** . Talk about getting dragged into something that doesn't involve you On the flip side, we wont get to hear their beastly commentators anymore, unless they decide to migrate over here to find some work  As for the 2011 WC, Pakistan will still hold it ...... :finger: East Pakistan :finger: that is. You can't have the entire sub - continent suffering because of one country. If a fire rages ten blocks down the road, you don't cancel the party scheduled at your house Cricket in Pakistan is dead and buried. Had it happened to any other country, I would be experiencing feeling from disappointment to devastation. But since this country is waging a war / fighting amongst themselves etc, playing a game is the least of their worries Now, is anyone else looking forward to the next episode of Zaid Hamid's show. I am interested in hearing what "**** and bull story" he cooks up. My sympathies to the Lankans. You deserved a better farewell than one these jihadists gave you.
riya Posted March 3, 2009 Posted March 3, 2009 Darkest day in cricket . Can't get any worser than this.
Master Blaster Posted March 4, 2009 Posted March 4, 2009 What a failed state Pakistan has become, these kind of tragedies happen everyday over there. Half of the pakiland is rules by the Taliban at the moment and all they could do is blame India. Pakistan is the new afghanistan in my imo.
Sachinism Posted March 4, 2009 Posted March 4, 2009 provincial government had been provided information by intelligence agencies in January 2009 that Indian RAW could try to attack the Sri Lankan cricket team during its Lahore tour. He said the identity of the suspects was yet to be ascertained and investigation had been launched to track them. I don't see this being true
Rajiv Posted March 4, 2009 Author Posted March 4, 2009 I never meant it this way but the SS name turned into a reality
Alam_dar Posted March 4, 2009 Posted March 4, 2009 I think you have to keep a sense of proportionality here. Agreed, extremists from any religion present the same problems...but the scale of Hindu extremism in India and Islamic extremism in Pakistan is not comparable whatsoever. In India, it is the exception and not the rule. In Pak, it is becoming the rule and not the exception. The warning of the potential for trouble is fair...agreed. But India remains commited to it's secular ideals and these forces are marginalised. Thus, equivocation on India-Pak in this instance is not justified. Cochise, Perhaps you are right about your "Theory of Proportionality". But I view is this that: 1. Although India is a Secular Country as a whole, but roots of prejudice are very very deep. 2. In Pakistan Religious Parties get not even 10% Votes, but in India has a big time trouble now. So, why Pakistan has so much problems than India (even if Religious Parties don't get 10% Votes)??? Main difference is not the Proportionality (in my Opinion), but main Difference is this Pakistan has No Control over (1) Weapons ... and that too heavy Weapons. Whole FATA area is full of more than 4-5 Million Kalashnikovs (2) Very very well trained Religious Fanatic Jihadis who could even take US Army or Pak Army any day and defeat them (3) Drugs Money, which is used by Taliban to fund their Jihadies. India is lucky to not to have the above mentioned 3 Things. But I have met the Religious Fanatic Hindus too and I tell you they are equally worse enemies of Humanity as Talibani Mullah. We all should be careful of all these enemies of Humanity.
Alam_dar Posted March 4, 2009 Posted March 4, 2009 The Terrorists were Speaking Urdu and Pushto (Pathan's) Language (According to Eye Witnesses) bbc .co .uk /urdu/interactivity/poll/story/2009/03/090303_eyewitness_attack_fz.shtml Here is the Report from BBC Urdu Website bbc.co.uk/urdu/interactivity/poll/story/2009/03/090303_eyewitness_attack_fz.shtml Rough Translation: There are statements of people who were witness to this accident and who saw the Terrorists. One of these witnesses was Mr. Asim Mehmood. Mr. Asif Mehmood says: "I left my children to School and then left to buy the Breakfast from the Liberty Market. There I saw the Terrorists in front of me and our cars became so close to each other that Mirrors of our Cars rubbed with each other. Upon this one of the Terrorist started abusing me in Urdu, while the other Terrorist was speaking the Pushto Language. I am extremely unhappy and sad upon the state of our Media, who was pushing the blame upon Tamil Tigers. Do they think that: 1. Tamil Tigers first taught their Terrorists Urdu Language? 2. Then also taught them the Pushto Language? 3. And then also made them fair Complexion by using "Fair and Lovely"? 4. And then also let them to grow the beard? What Jahil Non-Sense by our Media. I am afraid for all Medias of World Humanity comes last and they suppose they do a big service by lying and hiding the facts.

The islamic fundies in pak are exporting their terror to India. India fundies are not. Crucial difference. Also islamic fundies/jihadis have been acticley supported and encourgaed in pak by your institutions. pak instutionally has supported jihadi movements. There may be prejudices in India like there are in all countries. But to export terrorism and internally have vast terror networks which are supported by the state is another thing.
cochise Posted March 4, 2009 Posted March 4, 2009 Main difference is not the Proportionality (in my Opinion), but main Difference is this Pakistan has No Control over (1) Weapons ... and that too heavy Weapons. India is lucky to not to have the above mentioned 3 Things. But I have met the Religious Fanatic Hindus too and I tell you they are equally worse enemies of Humanity as Talibani Mullah. Alam, Pakistan has been arming, training and using Jihadis as an instrument of state policy for many decades now...so let us take your points considering this: (1) Weapons ... and that too heavy Weapons. Whole FATA area is full of more than 4-5 Million Kalashnikov Who armed them? Pakistan with funding from the US in the 80's and Pakistan alone after that. (2) Very very well trained Religious Fanatic Jihadis who could even take US Army or Pak Army any day and defeat them Who trained them? Pakistan along with the CIA in the 80's and Pakistan alone after that...up to the present. (3) Drugs Money, which is used by Taliban to fund their Jihadies Who created the Taliban monster? Pakistan. India is lucky to not to have the above mentioned 3 Things. It is not that India is by chance lucky to not have the above three things...the Indian government does not go about ACTIVELY creating these 3 things. It is commited to law and order and a clean foreign policy. Pakistan is not. In fact, it has been commited to the exact opposite. but main Difference is this Pakistan has No Control over They were controlling the Jihadis for their strategic purposes up until recently and I am sure that ELEMENTS of the Pak state still do. It is not that they have NO control...it is that the incumbent government appears to have LOST control of the jihadis...elemnts within the state apparatus may still be controlling them though...master puppeteers behind the scenes. But I have met the Religious Fanatic Hindus too and I tell you they are equally worse enemies of Humanity as Talibani Mullah. I don't disagree...but I don't see the Indian government arming these fundamentalists and using them to carry out terrorist operations against other countries or communities, do you?
EnterTheVoid Posted March 4, 2009 Posted March 4, 2009 RAW Footage: http://www.liveleak.com/view?i=157_1236129241
umpire Posted March 4, 2009 Posted March 4, 2009 >But I have met the Religious Fanatic Hindus too and I tell you they are equally worse enemies of Humanity as Talibani Mullah. Really what were they saying? Embrace my Religion as thats the only true religion Isnt?
EnterTheVoid Posted March 4, 2009 Posted March 4, 2009 Watch this for some good lulz: [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CcXywEMSqjI]YouTube - Attack on Srilankan Team Ansar Abasi Reveals Secret Documents ' ATTACK by RAW '[/ame] The supposed evidence linking Indian Intelligence Agency RAW to the Lahore attacks holds no merit and is based primarily on he said / she said and could've / would've / should've nonsense. Instead of hearsay, how about you provide a dossier of concrete, irrefutable evidence that would stand in an International Court of Law. Leave it to the judge to decide the merits of the evidence. Than again, I don't expect that to happen as "Pakistan" and "Intelligence / Common Sense" don't bode well together. Now, comes the biggest joke :haha: To supposedly prove RAW's involvement, they make a highly confidential security document, one which could jeopardize national security, available to everyone. That document looks like something a ten year old could do with some photoshop experience and 10 mins of free time. RAW did this / NWFP Pathans did that, yak yak yak. Apparently they know who did it / how they did it / why they did it without actually catching any of the attackers or interrogating any of them. There goes their credibility down the toilet drain
kumble_rocks Posted March 4, 2009 Posted March 4, 2009 Shameless Pakis acted innocent even during Mumbai attacks only to have egg on their faces.. It's deja vu all over again .
Captain of Bhangra Posted March 4, 2009 Posted March 4, 2009 One of my Indian friends had this to say: "I don't like cricket, and it's always on Sky Sports. I don't like Pakistan at all. The best thing would have been, if India had toured Pakistan, and the team would have been killed. There would be less cricket on TV, and these Paki dogs would be crushed for this final act of insolence" Personally, the Pakistan fans can say what they like, there's no point in them holding back now, their country is screwed, just cricket-wise for now, but pretty much everything soon...
